This Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral and binding part of the Bufkart Terms & Conditions (“T&C”). By placing an order on Bufkart, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy in conjunction with the T&C.
Bufkart operates in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1.1 Orders may be cancelled immediately after placement, provided the order has not been shipped or dispatched.
1.2 Once an order has been dispatched or processing has commenced at the merchant’s end, cancellation may not be possible.
1.3 The decision regarding cancellation eligibility shall be subject to system status and verification as defined under the T&C.
2.1 Cancellation or return requests are not accepted for perishable items, including but not limited to flowers, food items, and eatables.
2.2 Refund or replacement may be considered only in cases of proven defects, subject to verification.
2.3 Proof Requirement: Customers must provide a clear unboxing/opening video. Where operationally feasible, live video verification with Bufkart Customer Care may be requested.
2.4 Failure to provide the required proof may result in rejection of the claim, as permitted under the T&C.
3.1 Any damaged or defective product must be reported as soon as possible and not later than 15 minutes from delivery.
3.2 A formal complaint must be registered within 2 Hours of receipt of the product.
3.3 Resolution shall be initiated after verification by Bufkart and/or the merchant, based on available evidence and internal assessment mechanisms.
4.1 If the product received is materially different from what is displayed on the website, the issue must be reported as soon as possible and not later than 30 minutes from delivery.
4.2 Claims shall be evaluated based on evidence submitted, and Bufkart reserves the right to approve or reject such claims after due investigation, in accordance with the T&C.
5.1 Products covered under a manufacturer’s warranty must be resolved directly with the manufacturer or its authorised service centres.
5.2 Bufkart shall not be liable for warranty-related obligations beyond facilitation, unless expressly required under applicable law.
6.1 Once approved, refunds shall be processed within 10-15 business days, depending on banking and payment gateway timelines, and credited to the original mode of payment.
6.2 Bufkart shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party financial institutions.
7.1 Bufkart acts solely as a marketplace facilitator between customers and independent sellers.
7.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bufkart’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the value of the product paid by the customer, except where statutory provisions mandate otherwise.
8.1 This Policy shall be read together with the Bufkart Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other platform policies.
8.2 In the event of any conflict, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
8.3 Bufkart reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time in compliance with applicable laws. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
